Millennials care about climate change, plain and simple. Some quick stats: more than three quarters of Gen Y-ers agree that humans should take steps to slow or stop climate change. 62 percent believe that the climate is changing due to human activity, and almost 79 percent believe that it will either seriously or somewhat affect them in their lifetimes. It’s no secret that a big part of our world’s carbon footprint is the structures people live, work and play in. As an industry, real estate players can no longer ignore this reality.
