Phil Bottfeld is Director of Fund Accounting at Elion Partners, and is responsible for the technical accounting, financial reporting, and liquidity of Elion’s closed-end private equity funds and permanent capital vehicles.
Previously, Phil served as an SEC Reporting Associate for Equity One, a publicly traded Real Estate Investment Trust, where he was responsible for the preparation of the company’s regulatory filings. During his tenure at Equity One, he oversaw the research and documentation of domestic technical accounting matters. Prior to his role at Equity One, he served as Senior Auditor at Ernst & Young where he led audit engagements specializing in real estate, technology and large municipalities.
Phil serves as a board member of Florida International University’s Real Estate Alumni Affinity Council and is involved with the Wounded Warrior Project.
Phil earned his Master of Accounting from Florida International University and Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Florida. He is also a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of Florida.
