Mark Smith is Director of Real Estate Investments at Elion and is responsible for sourcing, underwriting, executing, and actively managing industrial real estate investments across target U.S. markets. Mark focuses on identifying value-add and core-plus opportunities and driving operational strategies that enhance asset performance and long-term value creation.

Prior to joining Elion, Mark held senior operations and logistics leadership roles at Amazon, Save A Lot, and Lidl, where he oversaw large-scale distribution networks and executed complex capital and efficiency initiatives. Over his career in the US and Germany, he has managed teams across multiple geographies, led transformation programs resulting in multimillion-dollar savings, and optimized the performance of logistics and industrial assets serving Fortune 500 companies.

Mark earned a Bachelor of Science in Operations Management and Economics from the University of Maryland, College Park.
