Samuel Ash is Managing Director of Capital Markets at Elion, is a member of its Senior Management Committee, and participates in the firm’s Asset Management Committee and Investment Committee. Samuel oversees the structuring and formation of the firm’s investment vehicles, advises on engagement with the firm’s institutional capital partners and provides legal advice to the firm and its affiliated investment funds.

Previously, Samuel was a member of the Private Funds group at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP, where he represented some of the market’s leading private equity sponsors, across a wide array of asset classes, industry verticals and transactions.

Samuel earned his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Harvard Law School and earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics, summa cum laude, from Yeshiva University.
